Guard of the Week- San Dimas High School

this week's Guard of the week is

San Dimas High School

from San Dimas, CA

This team is just as unique as I am. They are continuously always doing better than there last performance just like a team should but, what makes them unique from others, is that they do shows that are sort of out of the box. They like to do shows  that "break the rules of color guard" that are SUPER happy songs and tell stories!

Last year, their show was titled "I Don't Like Your Girlfriend" with the song "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne and placed with the bronze medal in WGSAC. and have been doing there best to keep being successful.

This year they did a really "groovy" number with their "shagadelic" style. The group did a 60s themed Austin Powers show using a 60s version of "Give it Away" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Also This year, they were second place at WGASC Championships which is the highest Champs placement the group has received since 2010 in a lower division, making it their second consecutive medal in a row!!!!!
Overall, they are fighting to bring back that originality to guard and stay pushing the bar of normalcy and continue to be successful.

Congrats Guard of the Week

San Dimas High School

Check them out in Action:
